Central 1, a leading financial services provider to Canada’s credit unions and financial institutions, has partnered with Flinks, Canada’s leader in open banking, to introduce open banking functionality to its credit union members and financial institution clients. The partnership will enable Central 1 to provide its members and customers with better control over their financial data, allowing them to safely and efficiently share their financial information with third-party applications. The solution, which is expected to be available by mid-2024, will also help credit unions and financial institutions compete and enhance the member and client experience.
