In an effort to strengthen its compliance efforts, Chime, a financial technology company, has hired Shara Chang as its Chief Compliance Officer. Chang brings 15 years of experience in financial services, fintech, and consumer protection to her new role, where she will lead regulatory compliance across the company. Previously, Chang held positions at companies such as Divvy Homes and Peach Finance, where she was responsible for overseeing legal, compliance, and HR functions. She has also worked at law firms advising fintechs, banks, and other financial institutions on regulatory compliance and enforcement. Chang’s appointment is expected to further Chime’s mission of providing innovative and trustworthy financial services to its members while mitigating risk.
