Visa is expanding its Fintech Fast Track programme in North America, extending its offering beyond card issuance to include connecting with its real-time money movement platform, Visa Direct. The initiative allows fintech startups to speed up their integration process with Visa, and since its launch in 2019, has attracted 42 client sign-ups.
Now, the enhanced programme will provide fintechs with the opportunity to launch initiatives through financial institutions that facilitate transfers to eligible cards, bank accounts, and digital wallets globally, courtesy of Visa Direct. Besides, for the first time, Fintech Fast Track members are eligible to collaborate with the Visa Consulting & Analytics team on projects aimed at bolstering their growth early on.
There’s also a new feature in the programme providing up to $100,000 of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Activate credits. This addition can be used for cloud consumption, business support, customized content, and additional offerings.
The company’s SVP, Global Head of Innovation and Digital Partnerships, Vanessa Colella, commented, “Fintechs are a vital growth engine for the payments industry, and Visa is committed to supporting their progress.” She further proclaimed that Visa is dedicated to providing fintechs with the tools and resources they need to innovate and excel. Vanessa believes the updated Fast Track programme will “catalyze new growth opportunities within this community” and uplift everyone, everywhere as part of Visa’s mission.
