Kueski, a Latin America-based buy now, pay later (BNPL) provider, has announced that its Kueski Pay option will be available for Mexican customers making purchases on Amazon. The payment option allows customers to pay for their purchases in bi-weekly installments, without the need for a credit card. The move aims to provide more convenience and financial inclusion for customers, particularly the 60% of adults in Mexico who are unbanked. Kueski has already granted almost 15 million loans to individuals and entrepreneurs in Mexico, and the company estimates that one in four of the largest e-commerce merchants in the country offer Kueski Pay as a payment solution.
The availability of Kueski Pay on Amazon Mexico is a significant step forward for BNPL in the country and helps to increase access to financial services for all Mexicans. Kueski hopes to make the payment option available to all eligible customers in Mexico in the coming months. Customers will have the option to select plans of up to 12 bi-weekly installments to spread out their payments.
