2024 is predicted to be a challenging year for payment fintechs in Australia, with startup corporate and business card issuers likely to fail with little value left, according to Brad Kelly, Managing Director at Payment Services. Kelly also stated that unprofitable fintechs may look to consolidate in order to reduce costs, as funding becomes scarce.
